自制比萨饼 (Homemade Pizza)

 
 这是刚烤好的个人份的PIZZA. 香喷喷的!!

PIZZA很多人都爱吃, 不过一般PIZZA店卖的都是皮厚, 馅料普通, 不怎么好吃. 这个自家制的PIZZA跟外面餐厅里能吃到较好的PIZZA没两样, 连丈夫的友人都赞好.


Makes 1 X 26 cm pizza


Ingredients:

1 cup plain flour (I use high protein flour) 
1/2 teaspoon caster sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried yeast
1/3 cup lukewarm water
1 tablespoon olive oil


Method:

 1. Mix caster sugar, dried yeast and lukewarm water in a cup and set aside for 5 to 8 minutes. This allows the yeast to grow/ foam/ bubble.
2. Put in a bowl the rest of the dry ingredients. Pour in the yeast mixture from step 1 and add olive oil. Stir and mix to foam a soft dough.
3. Turn onto a floured surface and knead for 3-5 minutes. Place in a lightly greased bowl and cover with damp cloth. Stand in a warm place for 20-30 minutes or until dough has doubled in size.
4. Roll out on a floured surface to form a 26cm round pizza base.
5. Spread your pizza base with tomato paste (I use diced tomatoes puree and add a little bit of ketchup) and top with your favourite ingredients. 
6. Bake the pizza in a hot oven of 200 degrees Celsius for 10-15 minutes or until cheese has melted and is golden brown.
7. Top with rocket leaves/ basil leaves and serve immediately.
